Auris Meyer Hard to describe this EP... voiceless, which is pretty unusual for me. Perhaps cause words are useless, feeling those tracks is much more important. Brilliant.

Danny-Joe H Poverty Pain Gates Disorder:
I love this track because it has an air of nostalgia - Of Detroit. Even as a pretty problem-free male of the age 25 in the UK i sense a struggle when I listen. It certainly provokes feeling. Any track that can do that is a decent track to me.

"Ages" rolls... Electricity surges through from the start - The synths build and rip open, the hats add light and a great energy to the track. Mazzula's vocals whir throughout. Another one of my favourites on this EP. Favorite track: Poverty Pain Gates Disorder.

about

Mazzula – Blue Bag EP

It’s been a while. You may or may not know that I said I needed some time out. There were lots of reasons for this, which I wont go into deeply now. To sum things up, I got a little frustrated with how difficult things are operating on the fringes.

There’s been many encouraging voices since then, plus the likes of Dave Clarke which made me realise I shouldn’t give up and to appreciate the freedom offered by operating in the darkness of the industry. I decided to go back to roots and write things that are Mazzula.

4 Tracks.

Blue Bag -
I love this track, using all of the instruments I love. It’s also about Blue Bags and the frequency that I see them, which is far too often.

Poverty Pain Gates Disorder -
You all know I like to get political. Well, I was inspired by watching what was happening in the jungle, Calais. Specifically, how people are manipulated to understand such a small group of people as a swarm coming to over run.

Out There -
I wrote this when wondering about what might happen if I gave music up. We live in a digital era where your creativity becomes part of the greater web. It’s almost organic.

Ages -
I wanted to do something that echoed my past, the likes of Leftfield et al.
